The 4-1/2 inch Type 27 flat design features 60 grit zirconia alumina abrasive on a phenolic backing with a 7/8 inch arbor hole. Rated for 12,000 RPM maximum speed, this disc handles edge beveling, chamfering, weld grinding, blending, deburring, and rust removal on steel and stainless steel.

The high-density flap design sets this disc apart from standard options. Thicker profile with larger flaps conforms better to curved and irregular surfaces, producing consistent finishes while lasting 30-40% longer than standard density flap discs.
